Healthy Hearts

Cardiovascular Disease (heart disease, stroke, etc) is one of the biggest causes of death across Kirklees, with 808 deaths from coronary heart disease amongst those aged 50+ in the period of 2014-16. Whether you are 18, 50 or 70 years old, it’s never too early or late to think about heart health.

The Healthy Hearts initiative aims to reduce the impact of heart disease and diabetes and prevent the number of heart-related illness, including heart attacks.

The best way to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease is to adopt a heart-healthy, active lifestyle. Find out more here.
