As well as hearing the presentations, you will be able to participate in discussion groups about transforming Primary Care. To help us plan for the future, the CCG needs to understand more about people’s expectations of their GP surgery and to test out some ideas about potential new ways of working.

    1:00pm – 4:00pm Conference room 3, IMWS Al-Hikmah Centre, 28 Track Road, Batley, West Yorkshire, WF17 7AA

NHS North Kirklees Clinical Commissioning Group, Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust, South West Yorkshire Partnership Foundation Trust and Locala would like to invite you to a ‘sharing and listening’ event to tell you about the work we have all been doing to improve the way we plan, buy and provide services and to see what you think about what we have done and our plans for the future.

This is part of our commitment to implement the Equality Delivery System (EDS2) across North Kirklees.

The event will be held on:

    Thursday 3 December 2015, 13:00 – 16:00pm

Conference room 3, IMWS Al-Hikmah Centre, 28 Track Road, Batley, West Yorkshire, WF17 7AA

We want to make sure that different groups of people have the opportunity to influence our priorities and ensure that we are meeting our duties under the Equality Act 2010.

The areas we will be focussing on are:

    • Better health outcomes for all

    • Improved patient access and experience

With your help, using a tool designed by the Department of Health called the Equality Delivery System, we will measure our equality performance and get your feedback to help us drive equality improvements and strengthen the accountability of services to patients and the public.

Each organisation will tell you what they have been doing and what their plans are and you will have the opportunity to say what you think is good and where things need improving.

There will be 4 events run across North Kirklees, Calderdale, Huddersfield and Wakefield, so if you want to attend but cannot make this date please get in touch.

If you would like to attend the event please complete this booking form form and return it to Amanjot.Aujla@northkirkleesccg.nhs.uk  by Tuesday 1 December 2015.

    10:00 - 12:00 pm Batley Town Hall, Market Place, Batley, WF17 5DA

NHS North Kirklees Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is holding the event as an opportunity to hear about the work that the CCG has been progressing and the work which the CCG plans to do next year. Our plans will focus on how we will respond to the challenges we face to continue to provide local services within decreasing resources. This event will build on the discussions which have been held at previous engagement events.

The event will be set up as a marketplace and attendees will be able to visit each of the stalls to hear about the work taking place, ask questions and share their views. The stalls will be looking at a wide range of topics including, planned care, funding healthcare interventions, urgent and emergency care and finance.
