NHS North Kirklees Clinical Commission Group (CCG) governing body will hold its meeting in public, next Wednesday 2nd July.
The meeting, which will also include an opportunity for people to ask questions about the CCG’s work, will take place in the Main Hall, Batley Town Hall, Market Place, Batley, from 6pm to 9pm.
Both the governing body’s chair, Dr David Kelly, and chief officer, Chris Dowse will present their reports, and members will also hear a patient’s story.
Dr Kelly said: “These governing body meetings are an opportunity for the public to find out more about the work we do and raise the issues that matter to them.
“It is also really important that we are aware of patients’ experiences – both good and bad – so we can look at how our services are working and how they can be more responsive to all our local patients’ needs.”
He added: “Everyone in the local NHS has a role to play in making services accessible and welcoming, and we aim to make sure that is consistent across the system.”
