West Yorkshire and Harrogate Health and Care Partnership

Health and care service providers and commissioners have come together to form the West Yorkshire and Harrogate Health and Care Partnership.   The Partnership has developed a Sustainability and Transformation Plan (STP) for the region which you will  find here

Watch this short film about our Partnership.

The Next Steps to Better Health and Care for Everyone document describes the progress made since the publication of the initial plan in November 2016.

It also sets out how our partnership will further improve health and care for the 2.6 million people living across our area in 2018 and beyond. You can read it here. We have also produced a summary version which you can read here.  Alternative versions and further information are available here.

West Yorkshire and Harrogate Joint Committee of the 11 Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs)

The Joint Committee was established in June 2017. The committee has joint delegated powers from individual CCGs to make collective decisions around specific work programmes, for example mental health, urgent care and stroke.

The committee will work closely with partners including councils, hospitals and community and mental health trusts so that there is a clearer understanding of, and shared solutions to, health priorities to ensure better access to consistently high quality care.

Maternity

In support of NHS England’s National Maternity Review, we have created the West Yorkshire and Harrogate Local Maternity System Board. The Board’s vision for maternity services is to improve safety for mum and baby, for services to be tailored for individual people, to improve choice and for care to be family friendly.  In this filmCarol McKenna talks about West Yorkshire and Harrogate maternity care.
